Student Resumes: College Resume Writers

I have written about student resumes before, and feel like it is worth the time to do it again. Let's face it; when a student is in college (especially about to graduate) he or she is at a crossroads. The education and the character is almost there, but the work experience is not.

This lack of actual job experience (particularly in one's chosen field) must be compensated for; but how? What can be done to deflect focus from the work history but onto the potential just waiting to blossom?

At Jimmy Hall Writing Services/ Georgia (404-580-1501) I help students with their first resumes and cover letters. I function as a college resume writer. Yes - I can help the resume to focus on other things; yet, I also stress the activities and small jobs already performed as positive, by extrapolating the skills and traits involved. It is a matter of transference.

Not to be bragging, but I find the positive points and silver lining clients have and present it in a clever manner to put my young student job seekers into play.

A quality resume is a ticket to get a job applicant into the facility for an interview. That is the goal; get in front of someone in the hiring process and let them like you!

If I can be of asssistance, please give me a call at 404-580-1501 ~ Jimmy Hall/Douglasville, Ga

Student Resumes: Resume Writers/Students & Graduates - Atlanta, Georgia (404-580-1501)

I well recall being a college senior outside of Atlanta (Carrollton, Georgia) and wondering about the future. Without much notice a student job fair came to campus (West Georgia), and I had to quickly put together a resume for it. Needless to say, the student resume that was hastily crafted did me no good. Back then I was no resume writer!

The fact that I was completing a BBA/Economics, an English Minor, and had some prior experience mattered very little. My resume was bad. Understand? Now I write resumes for Georgia students at my firm, Jimmy Hall Writing Services (404-580-1501). Now I am an expert.

You are what that document presents you as; the readers do NOT know you. This is true for students in Atlanta, West Georgia, Georgia as a whole, and the entire nation.

Students and recent graduates need a quality resume on-hand for all opportunities that emerge. Ideally, it should be professionally-written. Why?

Lets face it, most college-aged students do not have much of a job history, and very little of what they have is related to what they desire to do in the future.

Your hobbies, skills, courses, understanding, various activities and awards, and all other info must be carefully and cleverly spun to make you a match for a great position. What you have done and learned flipping burgers or taking orders must be extrapolated into basic qualities that will serve you in a "real job."

Again, at Jimmy Hall Writing Services/Atlanta-Carrollton, Georgia (404-580-1501), I can assist in making your life look great on a resume as you start your true career. Give me a call.... Thanks.

Resumes For College Students/Recent Graduate Resumes

In college? Just graduated? Looking for a job to fit into your school life, or that first real job? You need a good student resume. Your student resume determines what type of jobs or positions you will have in the near-future, and possibly beyond that. Do you live in Carrollton, Villa Rica, Atlanta, Marietta, Dallas, or Douglasville? Please read on regardless.

Whether you are a West Georgia State University student, Kennesaw State student, or West Georgia Tech person - or a recent grad from any school - a concise yet thorough resume is a must for you to both earn income and get into your chosen discipline or field.

Your fist resume won't have a lot of jobs on it, except maybe high school and college work to earn extra cash, but those jobs give you tangible experience and abstract values. Also, your activities, awards, and how you spent your time do matter!

Your first move should be to figure out what your short term objective is, and list your specific skills, education, and character traits to back-up your ability to obtain and do it. Then, combine that info with your contact info, education & job history and send it to a good student resume writer to craft you a great snapshot resume.

I can write such a resume for you at my company, JIMMY HALL WRITING SERVICES/ Douglasville (404-580-1501). The cost is minimal, and the quality is great. Get your resume done professionally for between $60-$75 by me!
