Blogging: How Do Blogs Work? ~ Jimmy Hall (404-580-1501)

Blogging is extremely popular, it is the everyday person's opportunity to be a voice and share info to a wide audience. More than that, blogging is also a powerful source of free website traffic, and customer attraction. Therefore, blogs are now big business and marketing tools for companies of all sizes. But, how do blogs work?

At Jimmy Hall Writing Services/Atlanta (404-580-1501) I write blogs for myself and clients. Why and how? Blogs are simple. In most cases they are also free (apart from hiring an expert writer). 

A person or business employee/owner simply goes to a website such as Blogger.com or Word Press and fills out the required or desired info (preferably seo-oriented) and starts writing and posting. 

If the blog material is written well-enough, optimized for search engines, and there is enough of it, the search engines will eventually pick-up on it and display it in search results relevant to its content. (A good writer, probably hired at a reasonable cost, can make this happen within a month or so - depending upon the type of pieces written.) Blogs are also shared and promoted via Social Media (facebook, Twitter, Linked-In, etc).

This means that viewers come to the blog, and whatever is there is seen and read. As such, the idea is to have a pertinent message or products or services visible, and links to websites, so in effect clients or readers are found using the web just as customers were found in the Yellow Pages in the old days. (For some people and businesses, blogs are even substitutes for websites, and less expensive!)

So, the blog functions in several ways: It provides direct info to the readers, and they can then respond through the blog's contact info. Secondly, the blog piece/pieces direct(s) web traffic to corresponding websites, as the blogger desires. Lastly, the blog and the viewer have formed somewhat of a bond, and the reader can comment, give feedback, and recommend the blog to others. In turn. the blogger or company can also answer and communicate with the reader.

In summary - blogging is great. How do blogs work? You have just read the basics. Simple. By the way, you found this blog, didn't you? Further proof that the notion works! Blogging attracts attention and viewers - it creates its own demand for whatever purpose the owner chooses...
