Blogging: How Do Blogs Work? ~ Jimmy Hall (404-580-1501)

Blogging is extremely popular, it is the everyday person's opportunity to be a voice and share info to a wide audience. More than that, blogging is also a powerful source of free website traffic, and customer attraction. Therefore, blogs are now big business and marketing tools for companies of all sizes. But, how do blogs work?

At Jimmy Hall Writing Services/Atlanta (404-580-1501) I write blogs for myself and clients. Why and how? Blogs are simple. In most cases they are also free (apart from hiring an expert writer).

A person or business employee/owner simply goes to a website such as Blogger.com or Word Press and fills out the required or desired info (preferably seo-oriented) and starts writing and posting.

If the blog material is written well-enough, optimized for search engines, and there is enough of it, the search engines will eventually pick-up on it and display it in search results relevant to its content. (A good writer, probably hired at a reasonable cost, can make this happen within a month or so - depending upon the type of pieces written.) Blogs are also shared and promoted via Social Media (facebook, Twitter, Linked-In, etc).

This means that viewers come to the blog, and whatever is there is seen and read. As such, the idea is to have a pertinent message or products or services visible, and links to websites, so in effect clients or readers are found using the web just as customers were found in the Yellow Pages in the old days. (For some people and businesses, blogs are even substitutes for websites, and less expensive!)

So, the blog functions in several ways: It provides direct info to the readers, and they can then respond through the blog's contact info. Secondly, the blog piece/pieces direct(s) web traffic to corresponding websites, as the blogger desires. Lastly, the blog and the viewer have formed somewhat of a bond, and the reader can comment, give feedback, and recommend the blog to others. In turn. the blogger or company can also answer and communicate with the reader.

In summary - blogging is great. How do blogs work? You have just read the basics. Simple. By the way, you found this blog, didn't you? Further proof that the notion works! Blogging attracts attention and viewers - it creates its own demand for whatever purpose the owner chooses...

Resume Service/ Atlanta: Executive Resumes Written ~ Jimmy Hall (404-580-1501)

Executive resumes are important, generally being for higher-level positions. That is simple common sense. As such, a candidate certainly needs a responsible resume service to organize and prepare them. I know, for at Jimmy Hall Writing Services/ Atlanta Executive resumes are written here!

What is different about executive resumes? Chiefly, a few simple differentials. For one, no "objective" is generally given. The open position is important and a specific one. Secondly, a focus on precise achievements, numbers, and accomplishments is required. Applicants for these jobs all have had great titles and past positions, but what they did in them is what sets them apart from one another. Lastly, educational credentials and special certifications and duties matter!

A good resume service around Atlanta (or the nation for that matter) will strive to set each client apart when crafting an executive resume for them, period. The resume must be crisp and fact-filled, yet pleasant to look at. The truth is that a person's resume (and the delegation of the composing of it) is his or her first test or assignment to be evaluated by a potential employer - and an extremely important one! Get a better job today!

Take your resume seriously. If I can be of assistance, please call me at 404-580-1501 (Jimmy Hall). I can and will help. Thanks.

Job Search Tips: Resumes, Cover Letters, Interviews, and Follow-ups ~ Jimmy Hall

Finding a new job in Atlanta or anywhere else when you are unemployed is a difficult task, especially due to the pressure and even guilt (probably unjustified) you might feel with respect to your current situation or about yourself. I hope that this piece about job search tips and resumes, cover letters, interviews, and follow-ups will help.

As a writer that crafts many resumes, cover letters, and follow-up letters, I understand clients' job searches. At Jimmy Hall Writing Services/Atlanta (404-580-1501) I assist them in any ways. Finding employment in the 21st Century is a fulltime job itself, so do not feel discouraged.

What Type Job?

For starters, do you have the time and resources to look for exactly the type of new opportunity that you want, or must you quickly find any type of work?

Specific Position/Certain Companies

If you can be a little choosey, by all means target a specific position or type of job (or certain companies) and have an executive or specific resume and cover letter written for it. Present yourself as a valuable commidity, a partner or team player to add value.

General Opening

If time is of the essence, cast a wider net, and be a bit more general without focusing 100% on a certain profession on the resume itself (but craft the cover letter to the general opening(s) they are offering).

Do Company & Job Research

Regardless of the approach taken, make certain that you study-up on the company and Google info about that certain type of job at that company before your interview with the company. Secondly, look at your own resume, and be prepared to answer any questions you feel might be asked based upion it or any weaknesses you truly have.

Ace Interviews

Once there, be a good listener in the interview, but be open to throwing-in some info to let the interviewer know that you know something about the situation you aspire to walk into. Do not be simply a responder or reactor. Have personality. Lastly, be yourself. The most important thing might-well be for the interviewer to simply LIKE you. Ace interviews!

Interview Follow-up

Regardless of how good or bad you feel like the interview went, do send a follow-up note or letter the next day, expressing your appreciation for the meeting and offering to clarify or provide any more information desired. Understand?

How To Setup A Business Blog: Blogging ~ Jimmy Hall

If you have a business, yes you need a blog to compliment your business and its website. Blog pieces show-up well in web searches via GOOGLE and Bing and other search engines, directly provide info to potential customers, route surfers to company websites, and allow for interaction with clients and customers and potential ones. I know, at Jimmy Hall Writing Services /Atlanta I write them, and this one is mine!

Setup/Setting-up Business Blog

The question is, how to setup a business blog....   In a nutshell, it's easy. Go to Blogger.com (preferably, since it's managed by Google) or another blog provider, and take maybe 5 or 10 minutes to provide basic info and a name, and then hire a blog writer (or maybe do it yourself, only if you know search engine optimization).

Blog Results/Blogs Attract Search Engines Results

Literally, within a day you will be sharing and interacting. In all likelyhood, if your pieces are good and seo-oriented and relevant, within about 2-3 weeks (if submitted or linked to your website) they will be ranked and listed on Google and the search engines. Then again, it is all about the relevance and quality of the blog pieces, and the talent of the blog content writer(s).

Using Blog Pieces Wisely

Once the blog starts to be populated with solid blog pieces and blog content, use it in other ways by sharing the links on websites, social media, and other places & vice-versa. Just make certain that telephone numbers and contact info are available on everything, and that you occasionally link back to your website. Use blog pieces wisely!!!

Increasing Web Presence: Hiring Web Content Providers/Atlanta ~ Jimmy Hall (404-580-1501)

Is increasing web presence a priority for you or your organization or business? Are you interested in hiring web content providers to attract clients and close more sales (monetary or otherwise) for the the company or to further a cause? You bet you are! I know, I run an Atlanta and online writing service (404-580-1501).

An increased web presence is vital in the 21st Century. Why? Competition is at a premium, while advertising and marketing dollars are grudgingly spent. The World-Wide Web and other online venues are extremely important, due to the inexpensive nature of implementing them into marketing plans.

Web content and its placement provide an incredible "bang for the buck" for orgaanizations/companies. How? Web content writers provide web content that attracts its own readers by being search engine optimized (seo) and search engine friendly. This means that when a potential client does a Google search or Bing search or any other type of online search, the organization shows up!

Search engines are the 21st Century Yellow Pages. They are the "Go To Source" for finding almost anything. Web content using the correct keywords, headings, font, layout, titles, and relevant content show-up. Experienced and talented web content providers can generally make it show-up ion a reasonable amount of time.

But, where is the web content written by these expert web writers placed? Easy.... Websites, Social Media sites (facebook, Linked-In, Twitter, etc), Blogs, and Expert Article Sites are the basics. Pieces on these types of sites show-up readily if search engine optimized.

Writing for the web is much different than standard print writing. Extensive writing skills are needed for both, but web writing also requires SEO knowledge to draw potential clients (and the ability to write in seo style without sounding repetitious or fake), creativity, the ability to present relevant facts in an organized manner, and finally the knack for employing conversion or closing tactics. ATTRACT - INFORM - CONVERT.

The larger and wider web presence a company, organization, or person has - most-likely the greater the perception of their expertise or services. Hiring web content writers to increase web presence is IMPORTANT!

I am Jimmy Hall, and I can be reached for assistance at 404-580-1501 or HJimmy577@aol.com . I hope that this blog piece helps you.

Persuasive Letters: Hiring Letter Writers ~ Jimmy Hall Writing Services/Atlanta

Life is all about communications, whether about business matters, personal things (good or bad), or life's troubles. Persuasive letters are an important part of everyday life, so hiring letter writers in Atlanta or nationwide can be an important decision. Why?

We need letters to correct mistakes, deal with bill collectors, make apologies, share thank you sentiments, ask for help, and even to avoid or delay jury duty! (It happens. I know!) A good letter written by a solid letter writer can be a valuable tool.

At Jimmy Hall Writing Services  /Atlanta & Online, I write letters for various types of clients, for many different reasons. People need things, and need to explain their side of situations. There are at least three sides to every story, those of the parties involved and the truth!

The object of writing letters is to accomplish specific objectives. Do you need a letter written? Ok, what do you want it to do or obtain? Simply writing and venting seldom helps anything!

Letter writers should write in an organized manner, with the final goal or objective of the client in mind. Thus, the letter must be written and addressed to the right person that can provide a suitable resolution. The best letter on Earth, in the wrong hands, solves NOTHING. Provide the right recipient!

Next, the tone must be one of firmness AND compatability. It should be crafted as if the truths therein are a given, but with respect to the reader.

If the letter writer has all that correct, the writer then should provide accurate information, explain the effects of the situation at hand, provide a resolution(s), and finally call or move the reader to action at a specific time.

All of this may sound "easy," but it is NOT. Experience, creativity, and logic all matter. At my writing service, I can help you with any questions you might have, or even be hired as your writer. Thanks, Jimmy Hall *(404-580-1501).

Christian Writing - Explaining God & His Bible With Words ~ Jimmy Hall

As Christians, we rightly read the Bible and strive to know it like scholars. This is generally a good thing, right? Well, it should be. The problem is that we so often get to know the book, but not the author! The idea is for the Bible to lead us to a closer walk with God. The Bible is about Jesus Christ.

Many of us can explain God & His Bible with words in our Christian writing, without too much knowing Him. That's right. There is a huge difference in knowing the Bible versus knowing God. One is the Creator and Lord of the Universe, the Other is the Holy Word (Picture and Embodiment of Christ) and Principles of that Universe spoken by Him to His Creation.

The task of the Christian writer's writing should be to help readers know God better, and NOT just things about Him. So often we forget that in the scheme of things books are a new thing.

Up until the invention of the printing press, Scripture was not in such available circulation. Sure, there were scrolls in the old days and handwritten copies a bit later, yet packages of Scripture were simply not in every home or even every neighborhood in the past.

When Christians of old worshipped, they actually communed with God and not just His Book. They prayed and knew the Bible from memorization of it, when they were fortunate enough to see it. In the old days the Holy Scriptures were cherished and loved and considered to be a gift. Now, they are "just the Bible," to many people - even Christians.

The task of modern Christian writers should be to expose the Person of God, as best we can, while admitting that our best descriptions still fall far short of His grandeur and holiness. We should facilitate better relationships with our Lord! Jesus Christ is everything.

To make this easy to understand, think about Literature and authors. To learn Hemingway or Twain, we do not just read their works, but also study their lives which are also reflected amid their works. Reading is not enough, meditation and study are required.

Christian writers must be a means for people to get to the Creator Himself, to become acquainted with Him, and not to just know about Him.....  ~ Jimmy Hall, HJimmy577@aol.com

New Business Startups - Starting A Business With Tax Refunds ~ Jimmy Hall (404-580-1501)

Have you been contemplating a new business startup on the side or maybe decided to start a new business for your future career? It could be that your tax refund check holds the key to your future passion and career. How? Please read-on.

It has been said that a person's career should involve doing what they love whether or not they are paid for doing it, BUT making sure they get paid for it! In theory, most folks work jobs to save-up to start a career. Hint: starting a business with tax refunds is a good idea. Tax checks in Atlanta or anywhere are almost like windfalls.

A tax refund serves as a means to pay for a business plan. That's right. And, a business plan for a business is like a resume is for a job-seeker. Business plans secure funding, whereas resumes secure job interviews. Get it?

A new business startup will normally need a business plan, not just for funding, but also as a means to layout the company vision and mission broken down into practical functions and means to an ever-growing ends.

As hard as it is to save money these days, the tax refund check is the ideal tool for paying for a business plan, which in turn is ideal for securing business loans or investment cash from others.

Your thoughts and ideas must be written and organized for those that are able to help you. Usually, much of the money involved is theirs! Business plans are blueprints for success.

I am Jimmy Hall, and I craft and write business plans. Feel free to ask any questions you may have. I can be reached at 404-580-1501 or HJimmy577@aol.com .

Blogging About March Madness: Writing About Basketball - Jimmy Hall

It's March, so NCAA Basketball is in full-swing, and bloggers need to be writing about March Madness. The question is, what is left to write about? Apart from undefeated Kentucky being "unbeatable," and Duke losing in the ACC Tournament, does anybody really care about anything else?

I am a University of Georgia Fan. As of today, we are out of the SEC Tourney, but will likely make March Madness; still, should I be happy? What should I be writing about basketball? I am an Atlanta guy.

Maybe the thing to do is to predict the demise of Kentucky. Everyone in the country thinks they are a shoo-in to win the NCAA Championship; so, why not predict it the other way? How 'bout an early loss and exit from the tournament? (Remember San Francisco's 29-0 '77 team, that then met and lost 121-95 to UNLV in the first round?) Or, what about a Cinderella Georgia run?

Imagine that, the Dawgs winning the NCAA Tourney, and the National Championship. We did have a lead on Kentucky in one of the last games of the regular season, and were tied at half-time. I guess it could happen. If you can play with Kentucky, on any given night you can stay with anyone.

This basketball blogging deal is simply not working out. Basketball and blogging do not mix without throwing in flashy personalities. It may be March Madness time, but I think I sure could write a lot better about the Atlanta Hawks; they've won 51 games!

Life Obituary Writers - Hiring Life Obituary/Memorial Writers/Atlanta - Jimmy Hall (404-580-1501)

When a loved-one dies, in Atlanta or anywhere, it is both sad and traumatic. Furthermore, amid the lowliness, many final preparations must be made, including the writing of the obituary - or the hiring of an obituary writer to do it.

One of today's trends is also to have a lifetime obituary or memorial obituary/biography obituary, which is longer and more detailed than a standard obit. The idea is to pay one last long tribute to the deceased, as it will most-likely be the final words ever written for or about him or her.

At Jimmy Hall Writing Services /Atlanta (404-580-1501) I write both long and short obits. I consider it an honor to be entrusted with such a special task. I have lost my closest loved-ones, so I know what the "client" is going through. All good obituary writers should treat the obituaries they write as if they were for their own family members, period. Obits are truly life tributes.

When hiring an obituary writer, it is important that you speak with them on the telephone, and feel good about them. Do they listen well? Make certain they care. Sure, the writer writes obits in part to earn income, but he or she should first of all do it because they care. Fact.

Give the memorial writer/ life tribute writer all the basics (birthdate, death date, locations, a photograph, career info, Military Service details, special loves/talents, spiritual info, children, marriage/mate inforation, funeral service details, etc) but also provide personal and "very human" material about them. Think - What would they want shared about themselves? I think you understand.

Prices for lengthy (350 - 500-word) lifetime obituaries range from as low as $50 to as high as $250, depending on the writer and the precision of the piece. I am honored to be asked to do them, so I usually write touching and informative tributes for about $75-$125, sometimes more but sometimes less.

If you have any questions, feel free to contact me (Jimmy) at 404-580-1501 or HJimmy577@aol.com .

How Much Do Resumes Cost? / Professionally Written Resumes/Atlanta - Jimmy Hall

How much do resumes cost? This is a common question for job-seekers. Like anything else, professionally-written resumes range widely in price. Resumes in Atlanta, and the nation in general, cost between $30 and $500. Obviously, that answer doesn't help you much - so please read-on.

Generally-speaking, typical resumes cost $50 - $100, while executive-type white collar resumes are usually priced at between $65 and $150. Why such a price variance?

There are many variables involved in the resume business that require varying degrees of work-effort, planning, organizing, time, and formatting. In addition, different objectives and info require more or less skill and contemplation. Upon completion, delivery methods (e-mail, hard copy, mailing, etc) also affect price.

(At my own resume service and writing service near Atlanta (Jimmy Hall Writing Services, 404-580-1501) 80% of the resumes I write are priced at between $55 and $75, simply due to the stream-lining delivery methods and personal writing process I employ.)

A good resume writing service should inform the client beforehand exactly what information is desired before writing begins. It simply makes good sense. The writer needs to have a feel for the client, and be sold upon him or her before trying to "sell" the client to a potential employer. Usually, the more data and info the better.

I like to have all contact information, job dates and titles and locations, exact education dates and specialties and locations, 8 or 10 adjectives describing the client, the client's purpose/goal for the resume (type of position/job wanted), all special skills and talents, awards and specific accomplishments (especially functional), a personal quote by the client about work ethics, and also a paragraph or two about them as a person. Resumes need to be crisp and precise, period.

A good resume writer in Atlanta or anywhere else understands that the purpose of a resume is to obtain job interviews for the client, to eventually get a better job; resumes themselves rarely secure jobs - they are simply concise snapshots and representations of their human, ideally designed to spark interest and set the applicant apart from the crowd.

I write resumes, and would like to assist you. Feel free to give me a call, 404-580-1501 ~ Jimmy Hall.

How Much Do Business Plans Cost To Be Written? - Jimmy Hall (404-580-1501)

How Much Do Business Plans Cost To Be Written? The answer varies greatly. A Google search will typically show the average price range to be $900 to $2,200. To be fair, this often includes some research and higher-end development services, but even without extras the costs are often prohibitive to someone desiring to startup a small business.

The price to actually have the business plan written and devoped/organized after the client first does a few hours of research online is significantly less expensive. The average cost of an educated business plan writer writing a business plan from sufficient material he is presented is generally under $1,500.

All writing services operate differently, with respect to procedures and costs. My company, Jimmy Hall Writing Services, writes mini-business plans for between $375-$550, and full-fledged detailed business plans are written for between $600 and $1,500. Why? How?

I provide a list of exactly what I need to be able to do a good job for clients, and also accept extra client input, and do not have to waste a lot of extra time and client money in researching too much info and data for the business plan's development.

In essence, it is the client's company, and they certainly should know more than me and enjoy doing any needed research. If not, they are entering the wrong business! If studying or researching data relevant to your vision is boring or a task to you, DO NOT OPEN THAT BUSINESS - your heart is not in it.

Furthermore, if paying a good business writer a moderate amount per page to write your business plan ($40-$80/page) seems too much to you, DO NOT OPEN THAT BUSINESS!

At Jimmy Hall Writing Services (404-580-1501) I generally charge about $45 per written page, $20 for labelling, copying, and pasting pages of photos or charts, and about $20-25 for each index or supplemental page.

If I can be of assistance to you or your endeavor, please feel free to call me....

SEO Web Writers/Atlanta Develop Web Content - Jimmy Hall

Truly professional SEO web content writers in Atlanta are not as numerous as you might think. Good web content writers are extremely talented individuals. Why? For several unique reasons.

Results-oriented SEO (search engine optimized) web writers have the sometimes difficult task of writing informative, factual, and relevant material (developing web content) and doing so in a manner that attracts searchers by optimizing for the subjects and keywords that the searchers (using Google, Bing, or other means) conduct searches for online. Web content should create its own demand.

After that, the web writer must them move or call the attracted reader to action - prompting them to contact the website owner or interact online and buy something! In essence, the whole end-goal of SEO web writers in Atlanta (or elsewhere) is to develop web content that increases sales and increases revenues for the web sites/web pages they are hired to write. Isn't that what organizations want? (Of course.)

Web content writing services, such as my own (Jimmy Hall Writing Services/Atlanta, 404-580-1501) must know exactly what words to use, where to use them, and how to organize the content to make it effective for both readers and the search engines they use to find what is being offered on the site to begin with!

In summary, search engine optimizing web writers must employ writing skills, creativity, and solid communications talents to draw potential clients, inform them, and convert them to the web sites' cause.

If my writing service can be of assistance to you, please feel free to contact me personally.....

Finding Clients Online: Increase Revenue ~ Jimmy Hall 404-580-1501

Do you want or even need to find clients online? Do you need to increase revenue online in an efficient and inexpensive manner? This piece is for you. Please continue...

At Jimmy Hall Writing Services / Atlanta (404-580-1501) I have made a living, in part, by helping companies become more visible on the World Wide Web/Online, thus increasing their sales, revenues, and client bases. I have found that search engine optimized (seo) websites, blogs, expert articles, and a strong Social Media presence are keys to success. (This is true for my own business, and most others.)

The more visible your organization is, on the web/internet, the more respected and authoratative it becomes in the Public Eye. This attracts and draws business, and if your products and services are good you will be hired by new clients - and increased revenue is a natural result. To a great extent, business success is about numbers and customer service.

In most cases, a future client (without a mutual introduction) will view your company's name, ads, and web material about THIRTY TIMES before contacting you. Do you see now why a strong web presence is important in Atlanta and around the nation?

Increasing your client base and enlarging revenue can be done inexpensively through free blogs, inexpensive websites, free placing of expert articles on E-Zines, and via free pages on facebook, Linked In, and Twitter, and some new optimized website content (your only increased cost is a little time and the minor expense hiring a good web content writer).

Now you are probably thinking, "Isn't there more to this, Jimmy? If it is so easy, why isn't every company doing it?" HINT: Many are doing it, and if your company is not - you are playing catch-up.

If I can be of further assistance, feel free to contact me at 404-580-1501, or visit my website: http://www.jimmyhallwritingservices.com/J_Hall_Writing_Service_Page.html    Thanks....
